Nina Stanyer
Mentor, Author & Creator of the PAUSE Philosophy™
You know something needs to change.
The hard part is knowing what comes next.
I help women make sense of what’s happening, work out what matters to them, and decide what belongs next.

Where Choice Begins

From Awareness to Choice
When knowing isn’t the same as choosing
Do you know something needs to change – but keep talking yourself out of it?
Do you know what you want, but worry about how other people might react?
Do you make a decision, then immediately start second-guessing yourself?
Or are there so many thoughts, shoulds and what-ifs that you can’t work out what you actually want anymore?
Why this workshop exists
Sometimes awareness gives us understanding, but not direction.
You may recognise the pattern, understand why you do what you do, and still find yourself talking yourself out of what you want or second-guessing the choices you make.
From Awareness to Choice™ was created for that space - helping you slow the noise down, see what is influencing you, and recognise what choice may actually be available now.
Now that I can see what is happening, what do I want to do from here?
When choosing feels difficult
Choosing can become hard when every decision seems to come with a consequence.
You may worry about getting it wrong, disappointing someone, creating conflict or having to defend yourself. If you’ve spent a long time being questioned, criticised, overruled or putting other people’s reactions first, even simple choices can begin to feel overwhelming.
That doesn’t mean you’re incapable of choosing. It may simply mean there is a lot of noise around the choice.
This workshop helps you begin separating the choice itself from everything surrounding it.
What happens in the workshop
You’ll choose one manageable situation from your own life and work through it privately while Nina guides the room through the same process using a shared example.
The workshop uses an outcome-led thinking process: instead of starting with How do I fix this?, you begin with What would I actually like to be different?
From there, you’ll look at what you know, what you fear or predict, what may be influenced by other people, and what choice or next step may be available now.
You won’t be asked to share personal experiences with the room, and nobody will tell you what decision you should make.
What you may leave with
By the end of the workshop, you may have:
-
a clearer view of what actually matters in the situation
-
one choice, response or next step that feels available
-
a practical process you can return to when choosing feels confusing or overwhelming
You do not need to leave with everything solved.
Sometimes clarity is enough to make the next step visible.
